Final round of the Colin Bowen Memorial English Skeet League held over the weekend

The sixth and final round of the Colin Bowen Memorial English Skeet League was held at Meary veg Santon with 22 competitors taking part in dull but dry conditions.
The leaders after the first round were Brian Faragher and Michael Cross with 24 points, in third place on 23 were junior Joe Faragher and B class shooter Mark Hepworth.
The second round got under way straight away and at the end we had Les Devlin in third place in C class on 36, with Jannie Robertson taking second place with 37 points, but taking C class with 40 points was Rob Marshall.
Peter Kelly finished in third place in B class on 43, with first round leader Brian Faragher taking second place on 44 and winning B Class with 46 points was Mark Hepworth with a pair of 23's.
In A Class we had a three way tie for second place between Rachael Bowen Matthews, Mike Walker and Michael Cross all on 44 but top of the class once again was junior Joe Faragher with 48 points, Joe hitting a straight in his second round.

A Class 1st J Faragher 23, 25=48, 2nd R B Matthews 21, 23 = 44, M Walker 20, 24 = 44 & M Cross 24, 20 = 44.
B Class 1st M Hepworth 23, 23 = 46, 2nd B Faragher 24, 20 = 44, 3rd P Kelly 22, 21 = 43.
C Class 1st R Marshall 18, 22 = 40, 2nd J Robertson 20, 17 = 37, 3rd L Devlin 20, 16 = 36.
