Six-time World Snooker Champion Steve Davis is the Guest Speaker at this evening's Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club dinner at Mount Murray.
Davis dominated the sport in the 1980's when he topped the rankings for seven straight years.
He has won 28 ranking and 73 professional tournaments in a career which is still ongoing - that's more than anyone in the history of the game.
In 1982 he made the first ever televised 147 maximum break.
As well as still playing, Davis has become a well respected television analyst for BBC Sport's snooker coverage.
Speaking to Manx Radio this afternoon, the player from Romford said he was looking forward to tonight:-
