Olympic taekwondo star Bianca Cook has transferred her global athlete licence to the Isle of Man.

The competitor from Liverpool, who has family on Island, will fight under the Manx flag for the first time this weekend at the Serbian Open.

Cook is aiming to represent Great Britain during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris this summer whilst also targeting an unprecedented fifth European title next month.

Speaking on the move, Cook is describing it as a great opportunity to represent the Isle of Man.

She adds 'the Island has become a part of my life' and is thanking the Isle of Man Taekwondo Association for welcoming her to the setup.
