Team will make mountain course debut later this month

Reigning Senior TT champion Davey Todd is confident the new 8TEN Racing team can be a 'recipe for success' in its TT debut later this month.

The Saltburn rider and fellow competitor Peter Hickman have joined forces as co-owners of the new squad which made its maiden road racing appearance at last week's North West 200.

With both riders having split from FHO Racing in February, Todd admits it's been 'hectic' to get everything together in such a short space of time.

However, he's confident he and Hickman can be battling it out for victories at TT 2025 whilst also creating a positive environment for the team around them:

The 8TEN Racing team officially launched just under two months ago following what BMW Motorrad UK described as a 'restructure' of its motorsport lineup.

Both Todd and Hickman as well as the wider crew are receiving support from the German manufacturer this season on the roads and circuits.

During its first road race outing at the North West 200 this month, the squad claimed two victories both through Todd in the Superbike class.

Elsewhere, both Todd and Hickman managed a further four podium finishes between them across the Superbike and Superstock races.

Further back at TT 2024, Todd claimed his first two victories on the Snaefell Mountain Course - winning the Superstock TT along with the coveted Senior race with previous employers Milwaukee BMW.

Elsewhere, Hickman won the Superbike TT last year with FHO Racing which moved him onto 14 TT wins to go level in the all-time victory standings with TT legend Mike Hailwood.
