Trials: Kaytlyn Adshead and Great Britain win at Trial des Nations

It's the third time the Manx rider has won the event

Isle of Man trials star, Kaytlyn Adshead and Great Britain have taken victory at this year's Trial des Nations.

The Manx rider along with teammates, Alice Minta and Emma Bristow went on to win the women's event in Arteixo, Spain on Sunday, 27 September.

The GB trio finished top of the pile with a total of seven points, with Italy coming home second in the women's series on 14 points and hosts, Spain rounding out the podium on 50 points.

For Adshead, it's the third time the Island competitor has been part of a winning team at the prestigious meeting, having also enjoyed success with Great Britain at the Trial des Nations in 2023 and 2024.

Separately, there were more positives for Team GB as the men's team of George Hemingway, Harry Hemingway and Harry Turner - which had an average age of just 19 - claimed second place in the men's event with a total of 65 points.

The only nation to best them were the hosts, Spain who took top spot with on 27 points whilst completing the top three behind Great Britain was Italy on 94 points.

For Adshead, this success comes not long after she finished sixth in the Trial GP Women's class of the 2026 FIM Trials World Championship earlier this month.

The Isle of Man competitor was also crowned 2025 Isle of Man Sportswoman of the Year back in February.
