Triathlon: Winners crowned at 2026 Isle of Man Championships

Races in Ramsey were finale to latest local triathlon season

Multiple winners were crowned as the latest Isle of Man triathlon season came to a close with the 2026 Isle of Man Championships last weekend.

A big turnout descended on Ramsey on Sunday (6 September) as competitors took on standard and sprint races along with a team relay event in the north of the Island.

Husband and wife duo, Andrew and Clara Isaac claimed the men's and women's titles respectively in the standard distance events.

Andrew finished first in the men's and overall in two hours, 17 minutes and 37 seconds whilst Clara was the first female and also third overall in a time of two hours, 32 minutes and five seconds.

Elsewhere in the standard distance races, Nathan Draper (two hours, 19 minutes and 56 seconds) and Russell Collister (two hours, 33 minutes and 41 seconds) rounded out the men's top three whilst completing the women's podium were Sophie Acton (two hours, 52 minutes and five seconds) and Charlotte Casement (three hours, five minutes and 40 seconds).

Meanwhile, in the sprint triathlon, the respective male and female crowns went to Nick Ardern (one hour, 11 minutes and 22 seconds) and Kiera Prentice (one hour, 19 minutes and 57 seconds).

Harry Kinley (one hour, 12 minutes and 47 seconds) and Cameron Leslie (one hour, 13 minutes and 49 seconds) were also part of the male top-three in the sprint whilst the female first trio was rounded out by Vicki Rawlinson (one hour, 29 minutes and 21 seconds) and Katie Ardern (one hour, 30 minutes and eight seconds).

Outside of the individual races, the winners in the team relay showdowns were Ledley King over the standard distance (two hours and eight seconds) and 'Brian, Jackie, Peter' over the sprint distance (one hour, 36 minutes and 33 seconds).
