TeamRST to make Snaefell Mountain Course debut this year

TT legend, Ian Hutchinson will spearhead the charge of a team making its debut on the Snaefell Mountain Course this year.

The 16-time TT winner will represent the newly-formed TeamRST in the Senior, Superbike and Superstock races at the 2026 event.

Along with being the fifth-most successful rider in TT history, Hutchinson remains the only competitor to have achieved five race victories in a week at the event back in 2010.

Furthermore, speaking on the move, the Yorskhireman says this project is 'very personal' to him and that he still has 'that drive to prove we can compete at the very front.'

He adds: "Everyone involved has come on this journey with me, and I want it to work for all of us. We’re aiming for that top spot and I want everyone to get something out of this."

During last year's meeting, Hutchinson managed top-ten finishes in all three races he contested - the Superstock TT Race 1 as well as both Supersport TT races.

Meanwhile, Stuart Millington, VP at RST comments: "Launching TeamRST is a defining moment for our brand. We’re doing this with one goal, giving Ian the package he needs to win at this years Isle of Man TT.

"We have been working with Ian for over 15 years. Ian is one of the most accomplished and determined competitors in TT history, and his experience makes him the perfect rider to lead this project."

Separately this year, Hutchinson will compete for the Burrows Engineering/RK Racing squad on board a Ducati Panigale V2 in both Supersport races.

The 2026 Isle of Man TT Races are due to take place Monday, 25 May until Saturday, 6 June.
