TT Supertwin Top 20 confirmed

Jamie Coward to be first away from the line for 2022

The Top 20 for the Supertwin class for this years TT races has now been confirmed.

First away from Glencrutchery Road this year will be Jamie Coward who takes the no.1 plate, followed by two of the new Aprilias ridden by Stefano Bonetti and Lee Johnston who take no.2 and no.3 respectively.

2017 winner Michael Rutter then follows at no.4 back on board a Paton, with the no.5 will be on the Kawasaki being ridden by Dominic Herbertson.

Meanwhile, winner of the last two races and lap record holder in the class, Michael Dunlop, will be at no.6 whilst three-time class winners Dafabet Racing will field Gary Johnson at no.7.

Peter Hickman has entered and has been provisionally assigned no.10, however he's yet to confirm his machine choice.

This year's start line will see new manufacturers Aprilia and Yamaha enter the fray, hoping to take the fight to leaders Kawasaki and Paton.

Outside the top 20, this year's sole female competitor, Maria Costello, will set off at no.30 - there are also three newcomers in Jamie Cringle (no.42), Joseph Loughlin (no.48) and Craig Szczypek (57).
