Using the hashtag '#cav4spoty', the likes of Jonny Bellis, Peter Kennaugh (and numerous other Team Sky riders), Cal Crutchlow, British Cycling, Cycling Weekly, and commentator Simon Brotherton have all added their backing, among many others.
The man himself has picked up on the campaign, tweeting "MASSIVE thank you to everyone who's tweeting #cav4spoty. I feel very loved."
