National side in need of a sponsor
The Island's footballing prospects could be in jeopardy - as the national men's side remains without a sponsor.
The search for a new source of income continues, after former partners SBOBET ended its contract with the team earlier this year.
Without sufficient cash, individual players could be forced to fork out up to £1,000 each to attend tournaments such as the Island Games and Umbro Quadrangular.
Players met with FA officials on Friday night to discuss the situation - Vice President Tony Mepham says the body can't subsidise all the costs itself:
Rugby: Bevan Rodd on bench for England's opening Six Nations match
MGP 26: A new Quayle set for the start line
Football: Douglas Royal face Peel in Floodlit Cup Final clash
Hockey: Three wins for Island sides in England Championships
