IoM hosted international tournament at weekend
The Isle of Man Walking Football Association is hoping a recent international tournament can help raise the profile of the sport.
The Island hosted the event, for the first time on Saturday (24 June), welcoming teams from the UK and Ireland and around 300 visitors.
Now the organisation is hoping the competition can be used as platform to boost the number of people getting involved in the game.
Chairman Darran Kenna says they want to expand and showcase the benefits of it:
World Downhill Skateboarding Championships planning Island return
Boxing: Sam Rennie claims Australasian Super Featherweight title
TT 2026: Ian Hutchinson to spearhead new team
FC Isle of Man narrowly beaten by title-hopefuls Chadderton
