Sooner than expected, Manx sidecar driver Nick Crowe is back in the Isle of Man.
It follows his successful visit to a fund-raiser in North Yorkshire last Friday.
Sports Editor Tim Glover reports:-
The trip to Northallerton was the five-time T.T. winners' first public appearance since the crash at Ballacob on the opening lap of the second Sidecar race at this year's meeting.
Afterwards, Nick returned to hospital in Liverpool, with hopes now rising of a possible return to the Island.
A further reassessment of his condition followed and permission for a transfer was given.
Nick still faces many more months of treatment to the serious injuries he sustained.
It's also understood his passenger Mark Cox is making good progress in a London Hospital.
