Senior Race shortened due to red flag
Michael Dunlop and Rob Hodson were the winners on the first day of racing at the Southern 100.
Dunlop took victory in the Peel Holdings Senior Race by 0.282s.
The race was called after two laps due to a red flag - the rider involved in that incident was taken to hospital but was reported to be ok.
The second race of the night was the Mike Kerruish Plumbing Lightweight Race, where it was Hodson first across the line, 5.616s ahead of his nearest rival.
In both races, Jamie Coward was second, with Davey Todd completing the podium.
Racing at Billown continues this evening, with roads due to close at 6.05pm.
