It'll form part of Women Riders World Relay

Female riders will be at the forefront to lead out the iconic TT Legacy Lap in 2026.

This year's event on Sunday, 31 May will be delivered as part of the Women Riders World Relay (WRWR) - an initiative which unites female motorcyclists around the globe.

To date, WRWR has connected more than 20,000 people from across more than 100 countries.

The Isle of Man's ambassador to the relay, Lisa, says: "Women Riders World Relay is incredibly proud to lead the 2026 TT Legacy Lap and to see women riders at the front of such an iconic event.

"The TT has always been about passion, community and respect for the Mountain Course, and this year’s Legacy Lap is a chance to celebrate all of those things together."

Those involved in the Legacy Lap this year will assemble in the pit lane at the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road in Douglas on the day from 8.30am.

There will then be a one-minute 'sound of thunder' before the convoy sets off at 9.30am under the instruction of the Clerk of the Course for a lap of the Snaefell Mountain Course.

The lap will take place on open public roads and under escort - those who do participate are asked to follow instructions on the day.
