Youth Centre clinch place in top flight

Ramsey Youth Centre will be playing Premier League football next season.

In the final match of the current campaign last night (Wednesday), they beat promotion rivals Union Mills 3-2, to claim the second place in the higher division.

The two sides had been level on points going into the game.

St John's had already been promoted as champions, having completed the season with a remarkable 100 per cent record.

They won all 24 of their matches, scoring 177 goals and letting in 17, and finished 20 points ahead of Ramsey Youth Centre.
