Conditions set to improve but showers expected this afternoon
Manx Grand Prix organisers have confirmed today's qualifying session is going ahead, albeit with a revised running order.
Roads will close at 12:30pm as planned, but with the Lightweight, Ultra Lightweight, Junior and Sportbike classes will be the first away from the Grandstand at 1:15pm.
Weather-wise, race officials say the latest reports are that the conditions around the Course will have improved sufficiently for this afternoon’s session to take place.
However, there is a chance of showers into the afternoon which may affect the schedule.
