But team says rider is in good spirits and recovering
Rider Matthieu Lagrive sustained 'several fractures' after a fall in last night's TT qualifying session.
That's according to his team, Optimark Road Racing, which says Lagrive is 'doing well, keeping his head up and making jokes'.
Lagrive himself also posted on social media after the incident to confirm his TT is now over.
Optimark Road Racing, which is wishing Lagrive well in his recovery, will continue in the supersport class with their other competitor, Raul Torras Martinez.
