Kim is a paediatric physiotherapist by day, and is representing the Island in para powerlifting.
She started training with British Weightlifting in 2018 and says her career high was getting a top 10 finish at her first World Championships last November.
In her spare time, Kim loves getting out in nature for dog walks and the odd cheeky chocolate cake.
Kim says she's really looking forward to competing at her first Commonwealth Games:
"I am excited to soak up the atmosphere and experience of the games. I’m hoping to get three good clean lifts and not come last!"
