Did you know that the fashion industry is responsible for 92m tons of waste dumped in UK landfills every year? Oxfam has conducted some research showing that almost 3/4 of Brits will buy one or more new item of clothing specifically for the Christmas party season, splashing out an average of £106... the spend equates to about £3.5 BILLION on new clothes for Christmas, with eight million items that will only be worn ONCE.
