An unmissable night of Americana, folk and roots music featuring The Jesse Janes Band and Joe Martin.
The Jesse Janes Band return to the Island after last year’s sold-out shows, bringing their joyful, harmony-rich take on Americana, bluegrass and blues. Expect classics made famous by Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Elvis, Gillian Welch and more — plus favourites from the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack.
The quartet features Irish sisters Kate and Mary Rose alongside Liverpool musicians Tom and Andy, and have been captivating audiences for over a decade.
Joining them is Joe Martin, a modern troubadour and acclaimed songwriter now based on the Isle of Man. Drawing on influences from Dylan and James Taylor to Townes Van Zandt and Jason Isbell, Joe’s storytelling songs have earned widespread praise. He follows his debut album Empty Passenger Seat with the release of a brand-new album Alone in Valentine recorded in Nashville with sons of Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb, which he is extensively touring this year.
✨ Two outstanding Americana artists. One beautiful venue. One great night
