Try one of the New Permanent Orienteering Courses.
3 Courses to choose from (Short / Medium / Long) of different distances & number of permanent markers to find.
Activity suitable for Families, Individuals & Groups.
Registration time: 9:30am - 10:20am.
Individual START times from 9:40am - 10:30am.
Participants must return to the finish by 12:30pm at the latest.
Orienteering Maps supplied - Cost: Adult: £4.00. Youth under 18yrs: £1.50. Family (2 Adults & Children under 18yrs): £8.00 (max) Cash only payment. Various Permanent Marker Courses: Short / Medium / Long
Registration, Start & Finish Area: Chibbanagh Plantation car park, just off the A24 Cooil road. (signposted from car park).
Event Activity –
Navigate to each permanent orienteering marker shown on your map, in the order written on the description sheet, whilst choosing the best route to get to each permanent marker post. Then record the unique code found on the marker on your scorecard or answer sheet. Check your answers on return to the finish.
