The IOM Victorian Society's October illustrated talk is entitled 'Lusitania, the U-20 and the Wanderer of Peel' and the speaker is Tony Pass who will reveal the story of these three very different ships - the great superliner, the newly-invented submarine, and the Peel-built fishing boat, caught up in one of the most momentous tragedies of the First World War.
Venue - St Andrews Church, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas. Ample parking on site.
Non-members most welcome for an entry charge of £4 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
