A simple church service at St Marks Church, in the village of the same name, 6.30pm Sunday 3rd August, with Briarfield Brass ensemble followed by Refreshments.

Church does not have to be boring!! We sometimes have an evening service at St Marks, and are inviting different musicians. On 3rd August at 6.30pm we are celebrating Simplicity, with music from Briarfield Brass ensemble, alongside our regular organist John Elliott; we have some favourite hymns (we have to sing "The Day Thou gavest" when we have Brass in the house!) A Thought for the Day, some prayers and of course, followed by Refreshments. Suitable if children want to come with parents-colouring/reading area at back of church and they will likely be fascinated by the Brass! And they might recognize a Disney tune too!
