Mannin Hotel renews its stock generating donations for Ed Space
A set of mattresses deemed 'too good to throw out' have been sold on by a Douglas hotel in exchange for charitable donations.
Mannin Hotel renews its stock every eight years and ahead of the festive season it decided to offer the old mattresses to the community, putting any money received in return towards a good cause.
In total the initiative raised £400 for Manx mental health charity Ed Space.
