2021 Manx Internship Programme open for applicants

Individuals to be matched with organisations for 'real world' work experience

The Department for Enterprise has announced it's launching its 2021 Manx Internship Programme.

The initiative provides short-term internship opportunities for students and interested individuals looking for work experience across different industries and sectors of the Manx economy.

The Programme, which was originally launched in 2020, was an initiative directly introduced as a result of the Economic Recovery Fund in response to the pandemic.

Intern's can expect an equivalent wage to the current rate of the National Living Wage (which as at May 2021 is £10.19 per hour), for up to 35 hours per week for private, public and third sector organisations.

Placements usually last for an average of eight weeks.

Organisations will be matched with interested individuals and students who are looking to gain real world work experience and improve their CV, as well as those considering a change in career.

You can find out more about the Graduate Role Incentive here.
