This year's Passenger Survey document has been published.
The annual report is carried out by the Economic Affairs Division of Treasury.
It shows total scheduled passenger departures rose by almost two per cent over the year.
The increase in departures was due to a rise in air figures, up by five-and-a-half per cent over the year, at the expense of sea traffic, which fell by just under three per cent over the same period.
