Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays and the Sefton Group say they are hoping to encourage tourism in the run-up to TT 2011, and will be targeting visitors from Merseyside.
The companies are offering special joint deals for travel and accommodation until the end of May, and are running a publicity campaign in the Liverpool Echo and the Evening Post.
Both companies say they are trying to entice residents from the north-west of England to make the short journey across the Irish Sea.
Brian Convery from Steam Packet Holidays says the idea is to offer an all-in-one package to the Island for people seeking a short break, closer to home.
