The man behind an airline which failed after just a month of flights from the Isle of Man to Edinburgh has started a new company.
Martin Halstead was behind Alpha One Airlines, which flew for a little over four weeks in December 2005 and January 2006 before folding.
At the time he was dubbed 'Baby Branson' as he was only 19 years old.
He’s now director of Varsity Express which flies between London Oxford and Edinburgh and will also fly for the company as first officer.
Earlier this week, the first scheduled flights went ahead on Varsity’s 18-seat BAE Jetstream 31.
