'First lady of Fleet Street' helps Island charities

More than £1,200 has been raised by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators at their annual dinner in the Isle of Man.

The event at the Mount Murray Country Club in Santon was sponsored by RBS International.

Guests included Treasury Minister Anne Craine who presented prizes and awards to ICSA students and the 'first lady of Fleet Street' Eve Pollard who gave the after-dinner speech.

The money raised from a raffle on the night will be split between Bowel Cancer Isle of Man and Hospice.
