Budding entrepreneurs on the Island are being offered the chance to 'meet' potential investors.
An on-line service called the Isle of Man Angel Network has been launched which gives those interested in funding a project the chance to view investment opportunities.
It is free for local businesses to register and list details of their idea, and there is also no cost to register as an 'angel'.
The network is operated by MK Ventures Ltd, and Director Kate Lord-Brennan says there has long been a need for such a service.
