An MHK says uncertainty about banks may account for £10 million he claims is missing from circulation.
North Douglas member John Houghton says information he has been given in Tynwald this week points to missing millions, which he suspects are being hidden at home.
He told Jason Roberts the credit crunch means people may now be less likely to trust banks with their cash:
