Guernsey's finance sector is complaining the government there isn't providing enough support, after figures showed Manx firms enjoy much greater benefits.
This month, companies on the Channel Island will pay a new fee to support the government promotional group Guernsey Finance.
Although there's no opposition to handing over the money, the States spends only £800,000 a year promoting its finance industry, compared to the £5 million a year the Manx government gives Isle of Man Finance.
The new levy will raise an extra £400,000 a year, but Guernsey will still lag far behind the Isle of Man.
