George Sharp retires
Accountancy firm PwC Isle of Man has announced the appointment of Andrew Cardwell as Tax Director in its Tax Services team.
Mr Cardwell has a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales).
He has specialised in tax since 1994 and prior to joining PwC was Tax Director in one of the Island’s leading trust companies and worked for a Big Four accounting firm in the Island.
Andrew’s arrival coincides with the retirement of George Sharpe who has been with PwC Isle of Man since 2008 and has played a critical role in helping build today’s Tax Services team.
He has been a familiar face within the Isle of Man’s financial community, regularly participating in conferences and seminars and contributing to the financial press with articles on tax issues.
