Law firm Appleby, which has an office in Douglas, was named 'Offshore Law Firm of the Year', at the Lawyer Awards in London on Tuesday.
The award recognises strategic clarity, technical legal excellence and growth in market share in the offshore market.
It was presented to Chairman of Appleby's Executive Board John Bisson at a ceremony at Grosvenor House in London attended by more than 1000 top international lawyers.
Appleby has 12 offices worldwide, in key offshore centres as well as in London, Hong Kong, Zurich and Bahrain.Its name appeared in Athol Street last year when it joined forces with Isle of Man law firm Dickinson Cruickshank.
