Appleby has maintained its leading position as the top ranked law firm on the Isle of Man for the fourth year according to Legal 500, the world’s leading independent authority on legal services providers.
In the latest rankings, published yesterday (Sept 20th), Appleby received a tier 1 ranking across seven out of eight categories including banking and finance, commercial, dispute resolution, employment, insurance and pensions, investment funds and capital markets, and private client and trusts.
Among the 15 Appleby Isle of Man lawyers to receive individual recognition were corporate & commercial partners Simon Cain who was recognised for his ‘broad commercial knowledge’, Nick Verardi, described as ‘diligent and personable’ and Simon Harding for his ‘outstanding funds experience’.
John Rimmer, partner in the firm’s private client & trusts department, was described as ‘one of the most knowledgeable trust lawyers in the Isle of Man.’
