Ashgrove's challenge to creatives

Showcase opportunity for local talent

Marketing specialist Ashgrove has announced a prize pot of £1,750 for its annual competition to unearth creative talent in the Island.

The firm's Creative Awards challenge locals with an artistic talent to apply it to a brand or campaign.

Prizes of £250 will be awarded in six categories - copy writing, design and branding, innovation, multimedia, online and digital, and photography.

A People's Choice award will recognise the piece of work most admired by Ashgrove's social media followers.

Winners' work will appear in Gallery magazine while the overall winner across all categories will receive a three month internship at Ashgrove Marketing.

The Tromode-based firm says it will offer a stepping stone for a career in marketing, PR or the creative arts.

Cash prizes have been sponsored by Island firms Boston, Ramsey Crookall, Sure, Thomas Patrick and Matt Mosur Photography.

The competition is open to over-16's and the closing date for entries is 8 August 2016.
