Celton Manx supporting young entrepreneurs
Sports betting operator Celton Manx says it's supporting the next generation of Manx entrepreneurs, after sponsoring the Junior Achievement Student Company of the Year Special Recognition Award.
More than 120 A-Level students took part in Junior Achievement's company programme from the Island's five high schools - which challenges pupils to set up and run their own business, before taking their product to market.
Vaselina Tordorva and Linette Joseph from the Harmoneeer Team from Ballakermeen High School took home the special recognition award – continuing with the project despite nearly all of their members dropping out.
Celton Manx Executive Director Bill Mummery says the award celebrates the team's "sheer determination to succeed."
