Overdrafts for working capital offered
Island firms whose trade has been disrupted by the bad weather are being offered emergency help from Isle of Man Bank.
Managing director Bill Shimmins says many of their business customers are facing difficulties after last night's downpour, with stock and premises damaged or lost - and for some, cash flow is an acute problem.
Customers in need of emergency funding are urged to contact their branch or relationship manager to discuss obtaining working capital.
Mr Shimmins says the bank wants to assist the local business community:
New child employment rules come into force
Tourist tax would be 'wrong move at the wrong time', says Douglas hotelier
Diesel price increases 'could put some taxi drivers out of business'
Interim census 'important for business as well as government'
