A £10 million pound cartoon series part-produced in the Isle of Man will be screened by the BBC next month.
Freefonix is co-produced by Douglas-based Cinnamon Entertainment and the BBC and tells the futuristic story of three musical renegades.
There are 40 half-hour episodes and the animation was modelled in the Island before being completed in India.
It’s been co-written by Magnus Fiennes, brother of actors Ralph and Joseph, and starts on BBC1 on January 4.

The series shows pop band Freefonix battling the forces of evil as well as a rival band and features the voices of singers Jamelia, Justin Hawkins and Chico.
Scripts were written in Los Angeles and New York, voices recorded in Ireland and the animation modelled by Cinnamon on the Isle of Man.
It features three heroes BB, Freezbone and Mostart, who form a band to safeguard the most powerful force in the universe and, of course, to save the world.
The BBC says it’s one of the most ambitious animated series ever produced in the British Isles.
