A bid’s being made to revive a body which supports retired workers in the Island.
The Retired Members Association is in danger of folding unless more members play an active part.
A public meeting on Wednesday afternoon aims to encourage more support.
Mick Hewer, regional industrial organiser for the union Unite, and Eddie Sherry from the RMA says instead of being a ‘voice in the wilderness’, it can make a difference.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday (March 11) at 2.30pm at Transport House in Douglas.
Eddie Sherry can be contacted on 814446.
