The Department of Transport has released its September passenger figures for Douglas Harbour, and they show a huge jump in both passengers and vehicles using ferries.
The number of people travelling was up 23 per cent on the same month last year, while the number of vehicles rose 13 per cent.
The figures have increased every month this year, and Director of Harbours Captain Mike Brew says six cruise ships accounted for the large rise in September.
