Two senior figures from the Space Foundation USA are visiting the Isle of Man next week.
The foundation is a non-profit organisation which promotes all sectors of the space industry.
Chief executive officer Elliot Pulham and vice-president for education Iain Probert will meet space commerce firms based on the Island and help other local businesses learn about opportunities in the industry, which has grown consistently over the past five years globally.
The visit is being sponsored by KPMG Isle of Man which is hosting a dinner to mark the occasion.
While here, Mr Probert will present a talk to science teachers at local schools.
