A customer services advisor at Island-based Britannia International has won a prestigious community champion title, after helping raise £8,000 for Manx Mencap during 2011.
Debra Moyhuddin was named winner at the Co-Operative Banking Group's national Living our Values awards in Manchester, a competition open to Co-Operative banking employees across the UK.
Debra was nominated by her manager Don Taylor who says she goes 'above and beyond' to ensure customers receive the best possible service.
Managing director of Britannia International Mark Beresford described Debra as 'tireless' in her efforts to support the company's community and charity initiatives.
Thanks to Debra's efforts, Britannia substantially exceeded the £5000 fund-raising target set for the year.
