The Isle of Man is too small to support two casinos.
That's the belief of the Sefton Group, which owns the Palace Hotel and Casino.
A statement has been issued as the Department of Economic Development seeks interested parties to open another facility, as part of a five-star resort.
DED believes a second casino could boost tourism and help diversify the local economy, but Sefton Group chief executive Brett Martin thinks the move would have a detrimental effect:
New child employment rules come into force
Tourist tax would be 'wrong move at the wrong time', says Douglas hotelier
Diesel price increases 'could put some taxi drivers out of business'
Interim census 'important for business as well as government'
