Students at Ramsey Grammar School have had fun tackling the difficult question of how they would spend £1 million on their town.
A team from Barclays Wealth acted as business mentors at the day-long event which saw a wide variety of schemes put forward.
Students' suggestions included elephant racing on Ramsey beach and retractable grass surfaces, but the winning idea, from team Centretainment, was a plan to redevelop the Grand Island Hotel site into a leisure and entertainment complex.
The event was organised by Junior Achievement, whose chief executive Sue Cook says the challenge helped develop life and entrepreneurial skills, from communication to team working, and prepare participants for the world of work.
