Does the Island's Chamber of Commerce focus its activities on big business in Douglas?

Or does it represent the interests of companies across the Island, large and small?

The Chamber's new president says there's a common misconception that the organisation works 'to stuff Athol Street tills' - a problem he attributes to bad public relations.

Chris Allen took up the top job this month, replacing Micky Swindale at the helm - and says he'll be carrying on her good work in improving its reputation.

Chair of the Construction Committee Stephen Smyth, and CoC's new media man Ron Berry told Tanya Humbles why greater focus needs to be applied to SMEs.
