Entrepreneurial talk sparkles at Manx event

A former president of the Krug Champagne family says their success can be emulated by much smaller businesses.

Remi Krug was speaking at an event aimed at Island entrepreneurs, investors and their advisers organised by Barclays.  

The bank hosted its second annual panel discussion evening The Exchange at The Claremont Hotel last night (22 Nov).

This focus this year was on the success of established family-run businesses - with expert speakers outlining how enterprises of other types and sizes can learn from their approach.

Remi told a packed audience what his family had achieved by maininting core values - and said successful family firms offer a model for both established and aspiring businesses.

He said it's crucial each business understands where it is currently placed in the market - and exactly what it stands for:
