Dementia-friendly customer approach call
'Traa dy liooar' should be given to dementia sufferers in every business across the Island - that's according to the charity that gave us 'time enough' tills in Tesco.
The Alzheimer's Society Isle of Man is looking to roll out the concept to businesses Island-wide in a bid to make the Island a 'dementia-friendly' nation.
Tesco's counter was designed to move people through checkouts at a slower rate - and staff were briefed to understand challenges faced those with the disorder.
