Charity boxes handed out by RBS

RBS International staff at the Douglas service centre in Howard Pearson House have come up with a novel new use for their empty boxes of photocopier paper.

They filled them with gifts of food and drink to donate to Age Concern for distribution to elderly people living on their own.

Resource manager Derek Ferguson, who was behind the project, says more than 30 boxes were filled and Christmas cards were put into each.

Age Concern's business development manager Gillian Harvey says it's wonderful to see more people getting involved in the project, which has handed over 300 food hampers this year.
