A partner at Liverpool-based commercial property agent Hitchcock Wright & Partners, has been appointed to the panel of official arbitrators by the Isle of Man government.
Eric Wright's role as arbitrator will see him called upon to resolve disputes involving land, usually where the government is acquiring it compulsorily.
Mr Wright says he's honoured to be appointed to the role and hopes the accolade reflects his years of experience and knowledge of the industry.
Mr Wright will serve a five year term and will perform his duties as defined by the Acquisition of Land Act 1984, to resolve land and property disputes without bias or personal interest in the assets concerned.
